These beautiful charcoal dyed silk scarves were hand dyed in Japan, each unique with subtle variations of color and detail. Although it is an ancient method, the process of aizome, or indigo dyeing, has always been a strong influence for us here at MadeWorn. It’s beauty and durability have pushed us to reproduce the same qualities in our product assortment. The process used to create this charcoal variation is no different and the color here is achieved with natural charcoal dyes.
